We did it. We made it a whole month together! I'm simply in awe at what God has done.

Today, we will put a bow on the last 30 days of digging deep into our new best friend Peter and what his journey means to us.

With two days left in our study, we are going to spend the rest of our time together exploring the fingerprint Jesus left on Peter.

We've watched Peter go through an amazing evolution, all because of our Savior's change in his identity. When Jesus gets ahold of our lives, evolution into someone amazing is inevitable.

Whelp! This is the last "Spill The Tea" for this round. I'm so grateful for all that you have shared with me on this journey.

We've spent 3.5 weeks laying the foundation for who Peter became after Christ changed his identity. Now how does that apply to you?

We've begun our descent on our study of the life in what I think is the dopest disciple, our dude Peter.

I'm still excited to see how God lands this plane we've been on. So today, we are gonna revisit some Peter moments and extract more nuggets that are applicable to our lives.

Today was a bit of a challenge as my heart was heavy because of everything that is going on this week that began with the shooting of #JacobBlake in the back.

However, after being told "Go to sleep," by God twice, I took two naps today and He spoke to me in my dreams and what I am supposed to share became clear.

We've begun to turn the corner in our observation of Peter's journey of being "the rock" as Jesus renamed him.

When God gives you an assignment, it won't be a journey with no wrinkles. Nah, instead the journey towards completion requires you to PRESS through storms, challenges, closed doors, hurdles, setbacks, detours, delays, and a whole lot more.

Whew yall...I won't lie. I struggled today trying to get clear on what God wanted me to say. Let's hope I get it by the time I teach.

In today's lesson, the trouble started with abandonment and isolation and went downhill from there.

We often hear the phrase, "I'm just out here puttin' it in to get my money up." Whelp...that's admirable and I can understand but so much can also be accomplished when you getcho rest up.

Today, I'm excited because I have a woman I greatly admire joining me to delve deeper into upping our rest game. The one and only, in-demand Dr. Saundra Dalton Smith who has a unique take has carved out time in her schedule on this Sabbath to chat about rest.

Some of us are so woke, that we need to take a nap!
