In this episode of the R3 Podcast, Rudy speaks with Craig Wedren, a musical artist associated with the pioneering band Shudder To Think, the soundtracks to many films and television programs well as several diverse-sounding solo albums. His unique voice and approach to music composition not only deeply impacted Rudy but many other way cooler artists as well. This conversation not only covers Wedren’s musical history, but also his health ordeals which include cancer and a heart attack. Things get even deeper with a look at Wedren’s ongoing Sabbath Series project. Along the way, Rudy mines lessons from Wedren’s non-traditional life to explore ways to improve one’s life. It’s all just food for thought and, per usual, things get… a bit “different”.
If you’re unfamiliar with Craig’s work, Rudy recommends starting with Get Your Goat (Shudder To Think) and Adult Desire (solo).
