One of the internal applications that we use is Alfresco Community Edition. I got a notification that a particular folder on my Windows server for our internal applications was getting bigger than one would expect it to be. I looked in the Apache Tomcat log files had accumulated over the last year and were taking up over a 180GB worth space! So I archived all but the current logs, and then set out to update the log4j properties file to change the logging level from "info" or "debug" (where not commented out) to "warn" (I left the "error" flags alone, and didn't see any "fatal" flags).

You know the issue where YouTube video will play, and you see the progress bar going, and you can even hear stuff, but the video box is just black? It's weird because if you move your mouse along the progress for the video it'll even show you the little snapshot preview. I tried a couple things that didn't work, and then one that did to fix my playback issue. Spoiler alert, I had to clear the browser data.

I do a quick overview of a pivot table in Excel. Honestly Googling instructions and reading through them with pictures or watching a video is going to be more beneficial to you and listen to this. Also my throat hurts so I'm talking pretty quiet, sorry.

I needed to merge two spreadsheets that did not have a unique identifier that matched but they did have a column that was kind of in common so I did some formula craziness and got most of it addressed.

To remove the OCR from a PDF you have to go to remove heading information which is under the protection set of tools, sanitize document also does this as well as many other things. I get into some file size reduction stuff too.
