When you see pictures, motion or otherwise, you both hear words and take a trip or many trips with images. The medium could be the television, it could be face-to-face, or any other. It does have the power to transform if it resonates with you or if you adopt and own it.
This transformation could happen in different ways. You may get to the point where you begin to speak like the characters, dress and act like same. You could modify portions of it, and mix it up with something you had seen or known before and use it in special or different ways that you create something that is completely different from what you had encountered.
Genius is born this way. It depends on how it is received. Minds of men [humans] are influenced this way. Models and patterns are created this way and people across the board live their lives based on influences that were both alien and quaint to them. It is an amazement because of the complexity of the human nature.
When you read content, you engage differently especially when the content slows you down. You play with the words in your head and the more you play with these words, the deeper they go into you till they reach the depth of your inner recesses. There you can no longer reject them.
You soon begin to speak those words aloud to yourself as you take notes and meditate on them. You take the step of endeavouring to manifest them by applying them. Those written words begin to form a part of you. You begin to own them. They gradually become you through use.
This is the true process of learning taking place. The manifestation of these words creates something new and intrinsic to you. You understand the words in your own way based on the use you put the content to. They shape you.
There is a shift; a transition from one place to another; from one point to another. Growth begins to happen. Change happens this way. While you are not the creator of the content, you have owned the content in a different and special way. This is not commonplace because only a handful walk this quaint path of learning.
