J17 is led by an amazing couple, Ren & Jessica Gilyard, who serve at Living Word Church. In this message I share several aspects from the life of one of Jesus' most known disciple, Simon Peter. On today's episode we get a small bird's eye view of two major trends in the Church. They should both alarm and inspire you, they sure did both to me. I share some of my perspective on the trends and even get a little preachy.

For those of you who feel unqualified, not 'gifted', or perhaps you feel you've made too many mistakes to be used by God, this episode is for you. There is so much more that we (as the church) are capable of, but we need to change the way we view success and also ministry. I also share a powerful story of a man of God that you have most likely never heard of, and I will continue sharing stories like the one you are going to hear today if there is enough feedback.
