My most recent original, it starts and ends rubato, that is with no straight beat.

The piano was recorded in Trinidad by a guy I met online. The bass is two recordings from a friend in Paris. The rubato is contrabass and the middle part electric.

This was a song called Celebration, but I cheanged the melody a little and had my guy in Trinidad play piano and my friend in Paris who used to play with me on bass.

Originally written in the 1970's, this tune has gone though a million versions and none of them felt right. This one does.
