Mr. Roulette was written circa 1973 for my friend Freddy Roulette, the great Chicago blues lap steel player. I played in a band called Common Ground in Fresno, California with Freddy back in those days.

I love carnitas burritos! This tune has a littl esoprano saxophone in it as well as my alto.

Imagining where we came from.

"I Wouldn't Mind" has been brewing for a while, and today, Sunday on the last day of February, while waiting for some wacky kitchen creation to finish cooking, here is the cheerful song, fully baked.

It began as a kernel and grew to a tree, composed and played by me, with a few drum, bass and keyboard samples as well as played keys, bass and drum parts in the sensitive sections :)
