This week I reviewed V by Colorado Thrash Metal band Havok. This is a go-to album if you are a thrash metal fan looking for new music! Listen today! I hope you enjoy the episode! This episode is a bit shorter than all my other ones since I am trying out a new format and I think it may work out better.
In this episode of Randy's Metal Reviews I go in depth and review Pink Floyd's best selling album "The Dark Side of The Moon". I thought this episode would be interesting because I had never really listened to Pink Floyd much before this album and wanted to give my take and view on the album as a whole. I give fun facts, tell a few stories and a bit about the band and what I think of their music. You won't wanna miss this episode! Check out The Dark Side of The Moon if you get a chance. P.S. The episode art is just a stock image of a prism because I have no idea how copyright claims work and I don't want my podcast to get taken down.
This album is a classic for all classic rock and heavy metal fans. I will review Ozzy's very first solo album and talk about the history of his solo career. Hope you enjoy and check out Blizzard of Ozz!
I review "The Way of The Fist" by Five Finger Death punch, read some reviews, and add additional commentary. I think this is a fantastic Five Finger Death Punch album that most new Five Finger Death Punch fans may not be as familiar with. I hope you enjoy this week's podcast!
In this episode I review Linkin Park's "The Hunting Party" and give some background on the band you may not have known. This is a relatively unknown Linkin Park album and I think it is their most underrated one. Tune in and listen to my review! You won't want to miss it, since they're one of my favorite bands and I'm very excited about this episode.
I review and provide commentary on "Disgusting" by Beartooth, released June 10, 2014 by Redbull Records. Beartooth is a hardcore punk band from Ohio formed in 2012. This album is one of my favorites this year and after my review hopefully you go out and give it a listen for yourself!
This is a special episode of Randy's Metal Reviews where I review Van Halen's "1984" as a sort of tribute to the late great Eddie Van Halen. I review the album, give a little history of Van Halen and tell some stories about my own life as well. Don't forget to tune in to this one, as I had a great time looking into it and recording!
I give the history of Black Sabbath and a review and commentary on the band and their debut album: "Black Sabbath". This album is a classic so you do not want to miss it!
I give a commentary about After the Burial's most recent album "Evergreen"
