Whether through the preparation they demand or the destruction they cause, major disasters present a threat to organizations in addition to the risks they pose to our communities and our national security. In the face of terrorism, cyberattacks, natural hazards amplified by climate change, emerging biological hazards and infrastructure fragility, the resilience of any single entity depends on a cross disciplinary approach to thinking, learning, and action.
