East of the Viking Heroes... Last of the Viking Heroes... I didn't realize until typing this that I said the name of this comic incorrectly the entire show. So I wasn't sure if I should say "Last" or "East" in the title because it may be confusing... So I hope this clears things up. This is from Genesis West, again this is new to me--not sure if there is a Genesis East? Come to think of it that may also be the reason I got the title wrong. Anyway, let us now delve into the adventures of the Viking Heroes who may be from the east but most definetly the last.

Yes... Today we are talking about Silver Star. Some of you may be asking... What's exactly is Silver Star? Well until today I would have asked the same question. Luckily we are all on this journey together and on that journey we will learn together. So let's get this started with a grab from Pacific Comics entitled Silver Star.

It's Grab Bag Month! With a new show that is spinning off an old show--it's important to dedicate one episode to explain what it is we are doing here. So that's what this is all about. What is this show about? Why the change? What to expect in future episodes? All these questions and more will be answered in this, the first official episode of season ten, entitled "Recorded & Boarded" on the Trade Paperbacks.

Welcome to a new beginning. We have gone back to our roots in the podcast space and will be talking about comics this year. When I started podcasting ten years ago I hosted the Hero Heads Podcast. We talk about different hereoes each episode and the show later evolved to talking about super hero movies and then transitioned into... just movies. Which is a crowded space for podcasts, since everyone seems to be talking about movies and how bad they are. So in order to stand out we will be talking about Comic Books.

Not that I was able to find one anywhere, but this was a viral sensation for all the wrong reasons that led to organic growth and an increase in revenue. Do you really know Grimace though? Why are we celebrating its birthday exactly? You are going to find out some things about this purple character today along with the McDonald's Corporation. When the chain was founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald, in San Bernardino, California, I do not think they would have guessed that one day a shake would come out that would cause people to record themselves dying from that would increase sales.
