Everyone was hyped for something they knew nothing about and I literally mean nothing about--no one knew what it was or even what it pertained to. Speculation included hydrogen cars or anti gravity magnetic vehicles, then all they got was a lazy bicycle that couldn't fit in places that a normal bicycle could fit. This was the future of urban travel, but cities already had problems with bikes, let alone a bike that barely fits through a doorway.
