Ranters Nation Network

It was another interesting week in professional wrestling as Brian shares his thoughts on the news on the Vince McMahon scandal and much more; as we dedicate this episode to Christopher Daniels.  Brian and RJ welcome the "Fallen Angel" himself to the show to talk about his great career in TNA and more as well as his great feud with AJ Styles.  Daniels also talks about the formation of the tag team with Frankie Kazarian "Bad Influence" as well as the formation of SCU.  Finally, we chat about his current role in AEW and what we can expect from them.

It may be hot outside where you are but this PPV was anything but hot.  Justin and RJ rant a lot about this WCW event from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.  The main event match between Lex Luger and the Giant taking on Hollywood Hogan and Dennis Rodman was something that was putting fans in the stands or so they were hoping.  The highlights of the show were the first few matches on the card; find out what Justin and RJ had to say about them and so much more!!!!

Brian and RJ talk about the week that was in professional wrestling in count one; but the main event of the show is Gail Kim. RJ and Brian break down her great wrestling career from WWE to TNA/IMPACT. Gail touches on some of the trying times in the business after being released from WWE and the great times she had in TNA. Gail Kim revolutionized women’s wrestling and you can hear the passion she has for it on this great episode.

We are in the dog days of summer and what a better way to overcome them then by listening to this weeks episode on Bash at the Beach 1996.  This pay per view is remembered as the event where the third man was revealed during the main event. However, the rest of the show leading up to it was great as well. With Justin still out on assignment Pondwater Dave steps in with RJ to rant about this great event and so much more.

He is a wrestling god and this week we pay homage to John Bradshaw Layfield. From his college football days to Japan and up to his WWE run JBL can say he has done it all in the wrestling business.  He is best known for being three time WWE Tag Team Champion with Faaroq aka Ron Simmons, but what we will be focusing on today is his feud with Eddie Guerrero in 2004.  More specifically we are going to be talking about his match with Eddie from Judgement Day 2004.  Brian has plenty of stories from that match as well as some great drinking stories as well.

Its the last Friday of the month, you know what that means? It's time to welcome Pond Water Dave to Rant about this months pay per view.  This month Dave and RJ are Ranting about King of the Ring 2002 while Justin is on assignment.  This pay per review is the coming out party for Brock Lesnar as he continues to dominate the company at this pay view and going forward.  In a dream match up we saw a pair of american heroes face off as Kurt Angle takes on Hulk Hogan.  From top to bottom this is an excellent event; listen to hear what Dave and RJ have to say about it as well.

We are on our final stretch to King of the Ring 2002 as Justin and RJ rant about the go home edition of RAW this week.  Like most go home shows there isn't much to write home about other then the fact that Stone Cold Steve Austin has seemingly taken his ball and has gone home.  This storyline is one that will reach it peak at the end of this show as we see the re-emergence of the most electrifying man in sports and entertainment.  This and so much more as we add three more themes to our rankings and look forward to welcoming Pond Water Dave to the show next week.

Whats that in the sky? Is it a bird ? Is it a plane? No its Rey Mysterio and this week Brian dives deep into the career of Mr 619 himself Rey Mysterio. From the age of 14 Rey knew what he wanted to do and that was follow in his uncles footsteps and become a professional wrestler. From 1989 onwards Rey Mysterio outperformed and outworked a lot of the talent in ECW, WCW, AAA, and WWE. Find out what Brian had to say about this and the match he was apart of from September 9, 2005 as Rey took on Eddie Guerrero inside a Steel Cage on a stacked Smackdown card from Atlanta, GA.
