We all saw the media run Ye went on, but how many have context of the situation? In this episode, I breakdown what Ye might've dealt with on the manufacturing end of building YZY, the culture he attempted to implement at GAP, and why Adidas is the laziest sneaker company on the market.
This week it's just me rambling in my studio. My sanctuary. My happy place. It's no secret that I've designed things, but it is a mystery of how exactly I found my footing. And even where I started and how I did it all. The story is far from over but I thought I'd give some insight that could maybe even help others get their creative business off the ground. I also discuss Search Party a platform I think will go on to become a massive imprint here in Saint Louis, Missouri.
I'm back off hiatus and back on my bullshit. I briefly ramble what I've been up to, talk with John Jackson about he started designing, the state of music from a regional stand point. Listen, I promise there was a focal point to all this but there sorta isn't and that's the fun in it.
Another quick take on what I think iterating on content can do for your brand and why I insist on doing it.
Perfection doesn't exist, just make and get out of your own way.
Trying something new with this medium. Bringing the video series from YouTube series to audio format on RDP.
All this extra time on my hands has really gave my a lot of time to reflect on my ethos, my brand and the goals I'd like to reach sooner than later. If you've been feeling the same way hope this video helps put you in the same frame of mind.
"Intent Trumps Everything" was inspired by the goat Gary Vee.
