Being a new rapper, singer, songwriter, or producer is challenging at best.  While there is much to learn, here are 3 key areas where most new artists fail.  If you learn where others have banged their heads in this industry, you won't bang your head.

So many people make the mistake of thinking there is a shortcut to building success in the music industry.  There's not!  This is a discussion of where some artists go wrong.  Don't let this happen to you.

Decide what you want to accomplish--in life, business, career, health, financially, emotionally, etc.  Put your goal in writing.  It should be realistic but challenging.  Then put a deadline on it...again, realistic but challenging.  Then break it into small steps and schedule each step on your calendar to make time for it.  Focus on your goals and make movement towards them every day.  Relentlessly.
