It was a 15-minute radio series which aired Sunday afternoons on the Mutual Broadcasting System. It ran for two seasons starting in 1948.  Storylines usually opened with Blackstone telling his friends John and Rhoda about an experience from his past. At the end of each episode, Blackstone challenged the audience to find a solution to a magical mystery. Then Blackstone outlined the trick so that listeners could perform it at home.
