Ryunosuke Akutagawa wrote two short stories, "Rashomon" and "In a Grove", that heavily influenced Akira Kurosawa's film Rashomon. Let's crack into these two masterpieces and talk about some possible interpretations. It's also worth noting that the names can be spelled as RASHŌMON and Ryūnosuke Akutagawa.
