HB wanted to talk about the best wrestlers of 2021, Marc Rob found this gem of an article to use for a guideline, and B Hyphen is not supporting CM Punk's position in the rankings! Also: Wrestler or Sex Worker! And you know it wouldn't be a Rasslecast without a few unexpected guests.
We revisit some more of those clips that just weren't right for an episode or had nothing to do with wrestling! We talk about bad Jay-Z verses! When Taker met Michelle McCool! Kat and Hyphen talk about Cody's weird promo from the summer! And much more!
Handsome Bane goes into business for himself but finds it a tad more taxing than he originally thought. Major news is broken with the announcement that HB is writing a book on Pro-Wrestling at the behest of best selling author, Shea Serrano. Kinda... Bane goes on to read the roughest draft of the first chapter of said book. And yes, there is a title, but we're not sure you won't steal it as soon as you hear it. So you'll just have to wait on that.
We're taking it back to basics this episode with a classic edition of the best wrestling podcast there is! We're joined by Karvita who tells us how she got into the world of the squared circle, we dust off the old GAUNTLET, and another member is enshrined into the RCPH HoF! Plus, The Rock's movie choices are discussed and we're never lacking in the surprise guest department.
Picking up where we left off, we're rejoined by Noveliss and No Name Tim to bring you our final five best matches of all time! How many times is Bret in the top 5? How many times is Hogan? How many surprise special guests can we conjur up? And most importantly, who's #1?
We interrupt your regularly scheduled wrestling fun (seriously we'll continue the top ten matches OF ALL TIME next week) to bring you the our takes on ALL the breaking news.
Look. We KNOW we said we weren't a news podcast. But we couldn't sit idly by while multiple promotions keep emptying their rosters, Kofi is stirring the pot by telling, what is arguably the truth, Waves and Curls are making...waves. And...other stuff. Don't worry, our usual friends of the show stop by to completely derail the episode. But to make up for it, we packed on 50% MORE Power into this hour. Given we just gained an hour via Daylight Savings, we figured we still owe you another half hour. We'll get you on the back end.
The headphones are on fire this time around Styles! The Handsome One introduces Showinmadlov as the newest member of the Rasslecast team, then proceeds to bring on our returning guests, Noveliss and No Name Tim. In the first half of a two part episode, we discuss our favorite matches of all-time! It was a crazy night too; everyone was showing up unannounced.
Picking back up where Pt. 1 left off, Pt. 2 begins with our guest Kat Chinetti starting a sidebar about why Christian Cage has DILF vibes, we discuss a ton of AEW and their growth as a company, All Lives Take shows up to clear up what may or may not have happened on January 6th, and Kat inducts her second member into the RCPH HoF!
Guess who's back? Back again? Kat is back! Tell a friend! Look, I'd love to sit here and lie to you about what to expect this episode but I can't. I spent most of it laughing. The Handsome One and I sat down with Kat for part 1 of this Rasslecast journey and it didn't disappoint. There's Danhausen! Muppets Take Manhattan takes! A plea for Adam Page's t-shirt guy! And more!
After burying B Hyphen for posting a clip show last week, Handsome Bane brings in the one and only Producer Mike himself, Michael Lamerique! They talk about how Lam enjoys a good wrestling match but doesn't really follow, they run THE GAUNTLET, get joined by two WWE Legends, and discuss the Netflix movie Escape The Undertaker starring the New Day and All Lives Take!
