Born in Peru, Rafael Estrada immigrated to the United States and had to  earn everything he has today. Arriving at 14 years old and not speaking a  word of English, Rafael had to catch up to his peers right at the start  of high school.

Diego Corzo and Felipe Mejia have a great conversation with Stacey Johnson, and dig into her story that started in Hawaii, then California,  and back to Hawaii. She shares how she worked 80 hrs a week as an  engineer and began flipping real estate part time. She speaks about her  wins but also her major loss of 30k on her first deal.

Emelyn Fernandez is a Dominican Republic native turned New York native.  She immigrated to the United States over 17 years ago speaking no  English and having very little. Matt King is David Osborn’s right hand man, working as his COO and chief of staff. He’s lived in Austin, Texas for the last seven years, partly thanks to our very own Diego Corzo. But before financial freedom, multiple businesses, and entrepreneurship, Matt came from humble beginnings.

Born and raised to a middle class family, Matt grew up with his parents pretty much working their whole lives. Because of that, he learned early on not to squander the opportunities he’d been given through the sacrifices his parents made.And curios enough, it’s that same generosity that’s afforded him the good fortune he’s been given by many people throughout his life.

And that’s where we meet Matt in this episode. From dropping out of college to print T-shirts to being at the table with multi millionaires to even being a featured guest at the Rat Race To FI Conference in December 2021, Matt exemplifies what it means to stay curious and have a servant’s heart.

Up to date, the biggest focus for his life for the foreseeable future is to just continue to become a better and better version of himself, by being a better husband, being a better dad, being a better businessperson, and being a better student.
