This episode covers the great Mama's Boys from Northern Ireland. The Brothers McManus (John, Pat, and Tommy) released two classic hard rock records on Jive Records (their 1984 self-titled album and their 1985 follow-up Power and Passion) after independently releasing their first 3 albums (the Original 1980 Bootleg, Turn It Up, and Plug It In). The bottom line - this band had the chops, the songs, the skills, and the looks to be one of the biggest bands of the 1980s, and earned their credibility opening for Thin Lizzy, Rush, Ratt, and Bon Jovi.
