Ooeerr missus! So lockdown is upon us again tier 4 has been rolled out and we’ve retreated to our bedrooms, join us in our thoughts and in the media we’ve been consuming. We’ve been reduced to Neanderthal technology again which is upsetting as we were close to getting it right but that’ll be for another day and another time. Stick with us!

Jonathon Lindsey is an Accrington based artist and poet. He is best known for his art under the name Accy Bob Ross, he started painting in lockdown and gained a bit of a following for screaming at kids as they walk past his house & for his abstract style. He is also a poet who has had some poems released in various anthology books as well as printed and posted around Manchester. Although he has been mistaken for a shaved yeti, he ensures you he is just a malnourished walking manatee.

In this episode we introduce ourselves as hosts and our plans for the podcast.

This podcast is all about creativity, we plan to have local creatives, artists, musicians and poets plus lots of other interesting people.

Our live room will display all that local talent has to offer too.

In today's episode we talk about:

How crazy Americans really are

Why you shouldn't follow random strangers on the streets of Bangkok

Another reason Dave Grohl is the nicest man in rock

That time George Lucas fanboyed over Akira Kurosawa

A really, really, really interesting film about how the dictionary was made

The mystical art of Iron Crotch kung fu

Jet pilots who drew a penis in the sky in support of a masturbating footballer

... and many other things.

Also a massive shout out to Rock Music Of Canada for providing their track “Shouty Scottish Men” for the podcast! Check them out here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/142aXaQaFqPYhlvMz2TAC2?si=t-uGKQ3NS1CH-AWmg0SFgw
