Dave and Dan are back from a long Fourth of July weekend and have some good stories to tell. Lots of sun, fireworks and 80s goodness by way of Stranger Things season 3. Dan sees John Wick 3 and Spiderman - Far from Home and Dave finally picks up Mario Maker 2. In the news, Nintendo looking to the future regarding their next controller, Sony is rumored to be buying some game developers and PES 2019 gets removed from PS Plus this month. Also, in our convo of the week, Dan and Dave drop their Game of the Half Year nominations.

Dan and Dave get into the business of making a quality game trailer, how he got started and his thoughts on this years E3. Also, in the news, Youtuber Desmond 'Etika' Amofah found dead off the coast of Manhattan, President Trump proposes tariffs that would affect the price of video game hardware and accessories and we now get confirmation that games will cost full price on the Stadia platform.

EA's back at it and up to it's old tricks. They are lobbying heavy to prevent loot boxes from being banned. Rated G covers the latest in the ongoing saga that is ethics in loot boxes. Also in the news, Amazon lays off dozens of developers from their game division, Jedi - The Fallen Order has Metroid like mechanics and Alpha Protocol gets taken off digital retail stores.
