Rated RPG Podcast

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade has failed upward for over forty episodes, but now they're down to the wire to save Koslo from the fatal results of mummy rot. They think they've got one last shot, but only if they can perform a real quick exorcism. Should be really easy and not at all complicated.

Thanks to two of our newest Patreon supporters: Spidey Mouse and Eli Chaffin! The new Rated RPG character token stickers are going out soon - beginning with Koslo Ferngrove. Every three months that you're a Patron, you'll be sent a different character token sticker via Patreon.

Our final virtual session is happening on Saturday, June 12th at noon CT: twitch.tv/gamesocietypimps - and in July, we'll be returning to in-person gaming!

We hope you can join us!

As the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade heads into a frightful battle against powerful enemies, they're blessed with an amazing new magic item - and our Patreon supporters weighed in to provide the details for what it does and what to call it.

But will it be enough? Will we have to say goodbye to Koslo or Rayce? Can these fools strategy?

All these answers - and more - on this very special episode of Rated RPG!

Thanks to the following Patreon supporters:

And from the bottoms of our hearts, thank you to our livestream donators and Patreon supporters for not only helping sustain the show while we were virtual - but also for providing the funding for some awesome new equipment and gear (just purchased!) to make our return to in-person streaming and recording sound better than ever before. It's going to make a big difference in the quality of our livestreams and the subsequent podcast.

Our next (and hopefully final) virtual session is happening on Saturday, June 12th at noon CT: twitch.tv/gamesocietypimps

Our next livestream is scheduled for Saturday, June 12th at noon CT - twitch.tv/gamesocietypimps - we hope you can join us!

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade continues their search for Ulder Ravenguard, the Grand Duke of Elturel. Not only can he help them in their quest to save the city of Elturel from eternal damnation, but he's likely their only hope to cure Koslo of his mummy rot.

The gents find themselves in the midst of battle with some skeletal minotaurs. Rayce still can't heal up, but they were holding their own until Glubjeg opens a curtain into an adjoining room - and MOAR ENEMIES! But, is it a deadly blunder - or - bold strategic choice?

Thanks to our newest Patreon supporter, AkDboy, for casting aid our way! We'll put your support to great use.

We'd also love to publicly thank these Patreon supporters who have been with us for over a year:

Tony LeBlanc

As well as Valentine Crowley, celebrating one year of patronage on May 17th!

If you're a patron for three months, you'll recieve the Koslo sticker first, followed by Rayce, Glubjeg and Dhababbi! A new token sticker for every three consecutive months of patronage. www.patreon.com/ratedrpg

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade has certainly seen better days. Mummy rot and life drain has taken a great toll on the party, capping some of the character's hit points near 10hp. Unfortunately, a long rest isn't something they've got time for, because Alder Ravengard has gone missing while he was looking for the Helm of Torm's Sight.

Glubjeg's Planar Warrior / Horizon Walker ability has detected a portal somewhere in the vicinity of the small cathedral in the graveyard - so that's where they're headed.

Our next livestream is THIS Saturday, May 1st at noon CT. www.twitch.tv/gamesocietypimps (if you are a podcast-only listener, the livestream will be ahead of the podcast timeline by a few episodes - but if you're ok with that, we'd love to have you join us)

Special thanks to our newest Patreon supporter, Eli Chaffin - as well as four of our long time supporters:

We're investing your support into equipment upgrades so that when we return to in-person gaming, we'll have improved audio and video quality. Thank you for enjoying the livestream and podcast!

Rayce the Roaster may be out of danger, but with Koslo Ferngrove still afflicted with mummy rot, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade pushes onward to a creepy mausoleum in search of help for the ailing druid.

Mummy rot prohibits you from gaining hit points, so if Koslo expects to survive to find help, he should employ a strategy using his monk abilities (Ki points for dodging/disengaging) to avoid attacks, and druid wild shape to soak damage. Then again, Koslo doesn't always think things through.

Dhababbi better not get too cocky either. His high AC can't protect him from everything. And speaking of cocky, Rayce has some new tricks up his sleeve.

Also in this episode, Glubjeg finally gets to use one of his most specialized abilities!

This is the final episode of the podcast before our next livestream on Saturday, April 17th (noon CT at www.twitch.tv/gamesocietypimps), so we hope you can join us live as we play.

In the coming months, we'll be unveiling some new Patreon rewards for our supporters! www.patreon.com/ratedrpg

We'd like to thank our four longest-supporting Rated RPG patrons:

Thank you for listening to and sharing Rated RPG and the Rated RPG Podcast.

Koslo faces a difficult choice in this episode, and his decision will affect the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade in the days to come.

The thing about mummy rot is that once you catch it, your clock starts ticking.

Your hit point maximum drops daily, and you can't regain hit points until the curse is removed and the disease is cured.

The Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade is in hell, a place where finding someone (or something) to remove a curse is a tall order.

Rayce the Roaster and Koslo Ferngrove both have mummy rot - and Rayce is definitely in mortal peril.

Deon and Jason have new characters rolled up... just in case.

While searching for Elturel's survivors in the catacombs beneath the cathedral, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade takes their sweet time and makes some poor choices. It's what you've come to expect from our heroes.

Amidst the carnage in the cathedral, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade finds another living survivor.
