Erica Gustavson is a hair stylist who owns a small business in Portland. She gave testimony at Portland City Council regarding her concerns about charter commissioners who designed the system of government running for city council and the potential for conflicts of interest. She is involved in leadership with Future Portland, a centrist grassroots organization that provides opportunities for civic involvement. Jessie Burke is the owner of the Society Hotel in the Old Town Neighborhood and chair of the Old Town Community Association in Portland, Oregon. She is the mother of three young children.
