Islam is an ideology with very clear values, beliefs and practices outlined in its holy book and in the actions of its prophet.

Combine this with the forced association we have with muslim immigrants due to living in a welfare state, as well as the mounting evidence that terror attacks and social unrest correlates to the amount of muslim migrants a country receives... and it becomes clear that it is perfectly rational to wish to place restrictions on the amount of muslim immigrants that we receive.

In the recent Australian federal election, it was found that the Queensland Labor party sent misleading texts to voters, that appeared to be from Medicare, pleading for people not to vote in their opposition.

We have also just found that Hilary Clinton will not face criminal charges for blatant disregard of national security.

People are fully aware of both these, yet there seems to be a complete lack of response from the general public.

It is not racist to criticise ideologies, but stifling debate over incompatible belief systems has disastrous consequences.

What people believe really matters, it influences their decisions and actions, and over time, beliefs can shape society.

It's time that we stopped shying away from examining the values of Islam as an ideology, and the beliefs and values of migrants from islamic countries in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as how these are clashing with our own liberal western values.
