Cheryl wants to fight fire as a job. It is a job for manly men. Cheryl doesn't know this. So she applies, trains, and passes all physical and mental tests, and wins a spot in a fire house.
She is warmly welcomed into the fraternity. Wrong.
What follows is her story of struggle against a culture casually accepting of harassment and bullying in the mistaken belief that women can't be firefighters.

Jaret discusses how to improve your chances to protect your mind against injury.
Two guys drink whisky, and talk about becoming Special Forces, god, cannibalism, a bunch of stuff in-between, and then it gets weird.
Jaret's initial interview talks about his career journey and dealing with life when you have PTSD.
Bob is a guy who has been kicking around for a few years now. He is an immigrant to Canada from Ireland.
He joined the Canadian Navy shortly after coming to Canada. He eventually jumped ship and became a Paratrooper, rising from the ranks in the Airborne he became an officer.
Some of his favourite things to do are to sit on his front porch and yell at small children to get off the lawn. He also keeps all the balls that get kicked into his yard.
His long suffering wife, Charlene, keeps him in line, gives the kids back the stray balls, and can be relied on to take Bob's drunken buddies home.
Fortunately, he also likes whisky and I also like whisky. So we drank whisky and shot the shit and soaked up a bit of his wisdom.
Enjoy!
