She grew up in Borough Park, married a rabbi, lived as a traditional rebbetzin. Then she took a turn and became one of the leading feminist artists of her generation, with a particular interest in the Bible, Jewish women and the identity of God. Now she is 87 and recorded today's chapter for us on Betsalel, art, the Mishkan and the nature of holiness.
