Welcome to episode 25 of Rave Dad’s Diary. I started a new job this month working as a publicist with Take Aim Media. I’m excited and grateful. I get to work with many of my favorite artists and labels. But as with any new job, I’m drinking from a firehose of knowledge.

So, this week I’m airing a re-cut of my conversation with Sandro Petrillo and Dan Solo about the influential Bass Music club night, Modern Math, that ran in Calgary from 2009 to 2011.

Welcome to episode 24 of Rave Dad’s Diary. Today I’m chatting with Naanak Sodhi aka Sodhivine. He’s a film and tv composer and he also makes sick trap beats. Lately he’s been blowing his intstagram with content from his studio – follow him @sodhivine

Naanak just wrapped up his MBA at Queens University and he’s back in Calgary. I wanted to find out what he’s up to next, so we caught up over zoom.

Welcome to episode 19. It’s Springtime in Calgary. Normally, if the temperature is above zero and the sun is shining, Versions Patio Party would be kicking off with events at Broken City every Tuesday afternoon. Things look a little different in 2021, but the spirit and community of the event is alive and growing thanks to the streaming platform Twitch and the dedicated work of Isis Graham and a team of volunteers.

Today I Check in with Isis Graham about the 8th season of Versions, which kicks off this week and she tells me about the challenges and pleasant surprises of bringing patio party to the internet.
