As this episode of the Raw Islam Podcast with Imam Azhar opens, B.C. Dodge and the Imam debate the existents of aliens and life on other planets and how the open verse of the Quran played a part in B.C.’s conversation to Islam.
In episode 15 the Imam spent time talking about accepting the hurdles of life in able to move forward, we must overcome the “Why Me’ thought process. Even though it is easy to say get over our self-view of “why me,” actually doing it can be much harder.
We may not be able to change very many aspects of our life, maybe in due time technology will be able to extend our lives well beyond the years that we live now. But, how will you spend that time and that extra life?
Imam Azhar address the Manchester bombing at the Ariana Grande concert. He says that this was just another attempt to ruin our world, to bring breed hate and contempt for people…it was another act the depend the void between us and them. That void is what we fight to close here on Raw Islam, and Imam Azhar doesn’t want to ruin this episode by talking to much about it.
However, things need to be said…such as the outpouring of humanity that happened after this horrific event. Companies gave free food, the Sikh and Muslims taxi drivers were giving free transportation to those leave the area, Muslim and Christian doctors worked side by side to help those that had been harmed in this senseless act of violence.
What we saw with the Manchester bombing was that humanity is greater than inhumane actions, love is greater than hate.
