There is so much fake news, there is so much negative activates, there is so much evil being acted on and perpetrated in the world today…what are we supposed to do? Are we supposed to do anything at all? Is it our job? Why should we care that the U.S. President tweets fake videos? Why should we care that Muslim Ban 3.0 got a temporary pass from the Supreme Court? It’s not your job, and besides – what can little old you do?

Everything!

We need to act together as neighbors, as members of the same community, as members of the same country, as brothers and sisters in the struggle and in the resistance to change the thought process of – not just those around us – but ourselves as well.

Imam Azhar reminds us that it is on us to bring the truth back into the light; and this isn’t a Muslim thing, it isn’t a Christian thing, it isn’t a Jewish thing, it isn’t a Republican thing, and it isn’t a Demarcate thing – it’s a human thing.

If we don’t work together to bring truth back into vogue, if we don’t work to change the thought process of ourselves and those around us, that is when “thinkspeak” comes into reality.

To quote Voltaire “One day everything will be well, that is our hope. Everything's fine today, that is our illusion”
