I recently took my wounded heart to Sri Lanka, where I read a book called "Liberated Love". 

From here, I decided to put myself into a metaphorical container and limit myself in order to liberate myself and become a beautiful butterfly.

New season, who this?

When it comes to distance and absence, does it make the heart grow fonder? I hope this is the case for anyone who listens to my podcast and has not heard my dulcet tones for a while...

However, unfortunately for me and my most recent dating adventure, it is not the case. In fact, absence makes the heart grow... resentment?

In this episode, I take a look back at my last few weeks and months and unpack some recent feelings that came up when I returned to Newcastle after some time away. 

I tap into my ability to be bold and although it comes with many challenges and rejections, realise it is always the things you don't say or ask that you regret. Let's remove the stigma of being forward and bold and encourage someone to ask you out and never be afraid to be the person who does the asking out. I have trauma that my message will be screenshot, passed around and I will be laughed at... but then I remember that I am fabulous and people don't do that (I hope) and even if they did, the joke is on them. 

Stop abandoning yourself in order to fit in. Have your back in all situations and let go of things, people and narratives that are no longer serving you.

Age is a gift, denied to so many! Enjoy it, embrace it and throw socks. 

 

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away there was a gorgeous, confident, vivacious women (ME) who met a boy. They spent a wonderful day together and he filled her head with all the things she has longed to hear from the opposite sex. They connected, and she felt passion and excitement... this could be fun she thought!

But she was wrong, and this fairytale quickly turned into a ghost(ing) story.

So I have decided to start off season two on the heavier side... apologies for that! I know I said season one was being left behind but I really needed to unpack why I am the way I am with men, so that is what I decided to do. 

It is not all roses and I am by no means making excuses for the thing I have done or the choices I have made but sometimes you just need to let it out and go "That makes sense, I won't be so hard on myself moving forward". It also lets everyone see me a little bit deeper. Let's get RAW! xoxo
