This is our farewell episode of RAW. We discuss seasons. How do you know when a season is ending and the importance of ending something well. We discuss why we are closing this chapter of RAW, the conversations had about it, what RAW has meant to us and how it's shaped us. We are so grateful and honored to have done this together and sat across from so many women to hear their God stories. There is such power in testimonies, in being real and authentic with others, share your story and let others in. Be in community. Kristin Peterson / A glory story!

Kristin’s story reminds us that joy is a choice, and even when we’re walking through the patience of waiting for what your heart wants most, or unexpected events that make us crave ‘ordinary days’ through it all, we can choose to have joy that gives us strength. 

Kristin didn’t come to know Jesus as her personal savior until later in life. It was through one of the hardest realizations of their life, that they couldn’t have kids of their own, that Kristin turned to Jesus and he rescued her! 

Kristin’s story is full of the power of God at work. He’s worked miracles in her life, and her perspective will encourage you in your own walk with Him.

Today, we're diving into a powerful and deeply personal story - the story of Krisstina, Kass's sister. Once lost in the depths of destruction, Krisstina was caught in the grip of addiction. Her life spun out of control, leaving behind a trail of brokenness - in herself and in her family. She searched in so many places for healing, for purpose, for peace... but everywhere she looked, she only found more despair. 

But when everything was on the line - especially the terrifying reality of losing her children forever - it was Jesus who pursued her heart. And in her most desperate moment, she surrendered. Fully. Completely. To Christ.

Today, Krisstina walks in freedom - not because life is perfect, but because she knows the One who holds her through every season. This isn't just a story of recovery - its a story of resurrection.

This week on the podcast, we have Karen Kahlig in the studio with us! She's a Texan with a big heart and much love to share. That's why it was so hard for her when she moved to Utah and realized people were nice but not friendly. She could never have anticipated that it would take her years to make a true friend with whom she could go shopping or walk. 

The years after her transition to Utah were rough. Her heart was sad, and her mind was burdened. She started believing things like, "I'm not likable." "I won't fit in here." "I'm not that cool." "She won't want to hang out with me." Finally, things began shifting after she read Find Your People. She started seeing how God was bringing her friends unexpectedly, and they were everywhere. 

Karen's real, authentic story is an excellent story of how God can bring about good things in new ways and keep teaching us about ourselves. We're never too old to learn new things!
