Animal welfare has a new agency and top dog in the province. The Saskatchewan Animal Enforcement Agency Chief, Lavan Thirukketheesawaranathan, join the show to share what you need to know about the agency and how it plans to collaborate with communities, animal shelters, rescues and policing to provide the best care for animals across the province.

A study out of the University of Toronto shows Saskatchewan students who participated in full-time kindergarten had significantly stronger literacy skills compared to those who didn't. Zeba Ahmad, CEO, Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation and Wayne Brownlee, philanthropist, former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nutrien/PotashCorp, are trying to make this program a reality for even more children here in the province.
