The power couple from Atlanta Georgia sits down with Ivy and talk about the evolution of their relationship from friends in middle school, to a couple, to being business partners taking over the scene in Georgia. About GK Super and Saffire As the music industry advances, so does the creativity and skill set of artists. That’s why I would like to introduce you to Artist Entrepreneur GKSuper, an Atlanta-based producer, lyricist, and independent record label executive. Through his imprint, Super Records Entertainment, he is transforming the perspective on Atlanta’s independent music industry. Growing up GKSuper grew up loving and having a deep passion for music. After his parents separated at a young age, he used music to manage his emotional turmoil and subsequently sparked his inner musician. Before his father left the home, he gave young GK a copy of Tupac’s 'All Eyes On Me' CD. Whenever he missed his father, he played the record for comfort. This built a bond, a way to communicate and express himself that turned into an amazing talent for him. His experience in after-school cyphers, battles in the streets, granted him the opportunity to host in various Atlanta clubs, where he was able to perform his original hits and master crowd control. GKSuper continued to develop his skills by studying Music Theory and Music Production in college- which developed him into a self-sufficient artist. He would later join forces with his fiance and labelmate Saffire Super who has a background in photo and runway modeling, wardrobe styling, and production to create their own record label, Super Records Ent, and an accompanying merchandise line. Outside of recording, they can write, mix, edit, and design all of his music and marketing materials among other skills. They are excited to have complete creative control over the type of music they create and the way he is perceived as an artist.

About Madaddan
With so many artists out there trying to make their mark in the music industry, many people ask, “What makes you different?” Some answer back with style and grace, others solely rely upon the written/spoken words of their lyrics, hoping to influence the minds of today’s youth with fresh ideals. Despite whatever route they may take, being more than just a dot in this world definitely takes one thing – diversity. Although his professional music career didn’t really started until the age of 20, Robert Alexander Wilson, also known as Maddadan, was heavily influenced by the arts. His diversity has led him on a path of becoming a strong prospect in the music industry, not only in the genre of reggae, but being apt to transfer his experiences and styles to other genres such as Rock, Rap and R&B. Someone who is able to transition so with much ease is saying a lot; not only about their talent, but their character as well. As cliché as it may sound, Maddadan is man on a mission, and he will not disappoint those who are constantly in search for something daring and unique. a lot Maddadan was born in the United States of America, but raised like a true Jamaican. His love for music has been with him before he could even walk. He grew up to be a jack-of-all-trades, pursuing his interests in the mediums of art, music, film and more. Before experimenting with reggae, he had his success in the alternative rock genre as a guitarist and vocalist in a local band. That experience added more drive and determination for him to make it as an artist.
