It took me a long time to figure this one out. How addiction usually manifests on the surface level and is a sign of much deeper issues going on under the surface. We use alcohol and drugs to escape the feelings of unrest which are caused by deeper stuff.

I've spent almost my entire life battling with anxiety. From a young teenager all the way to a middle aged adult, my battle with Anxiety has been constant. I hate it!

That being said I have found that we can get over our anxieties and they are not only curable but preventable.
