Can you think back to a time you felt so frustrated, overwhelmed, ready to quit, and that all odds were against you? Now that you look back on that moment are you able to find the humor and wisdom within the frustration? If there's one thing I can assure you is that it's never fun when you're going through it, but it can become a great sense of laughter when you look back. There are so many moments just within this past year and the challenges of autism that I can look back and smile. Today, the memory that comes to mind is our constant appointments with the neurologist (for potential seizures). From all the sleepless nights, picky eating, meltdowns, hugs, kisses, and "mama"s...I can say for certain that it was all worth it. I declare that everything that is seeming to steal your joy, will repay you with laughter, wisdom, joy, and strength.
