Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Season 2 episode 10: Sanctuary. In this episode we beam some flaky skinned people into Ops without asking ourselves whether or not we should beam flaky skinned people into Ops! Why do we do that? Fortunately, they don't bring a new virus to the station, but they do bring a little chaos as the universal translator struggles with their language. But never fear, we eventually get that working and we learn that our visitors are not alone!
The flaky skinned folks turn out to be Skrreans in search of a new home. They've come from the other side of "the eye" in search of a mythical place called Kentanna. The Skrreans were enslaved for centuries until the Dominion conquered their enslavers. In this dramatic story of refugees, Kira finds herself struggling to help everyone and still do her job. Join us for our analysis of Sanctuary!
It's a re-watch of a thing you've already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines.
