Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Season 5 episode 9 of Rebinge Deep Space Nine: The Ascent. We've got an odd couple theme this week as Odo and Quark are stranded together on a cold, lifeless planet while Nog and Jake reunite only to find that roommate life isn't what they expected.

Odo and Quark get stranded together on a harsh planet due to a failed assassination attempt. They spend most of their time bickering while trying to climb a mountain (hence: "the ascent"). Meanwhile, back at the station Nog is back and he's a super keen Starfleet cadet! He and Jake move in together only to discover they don't have a lot in common anymore. There is A LOT of bickering in this episode (not in the podcast), but don't worry, everyone gets along (sort of) in the end.

It's a re-watch of a thing you've already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines.
