“There is something about blades, it’s a geometry, it requires a really fine eye, it requires a tremendous amount of patience,” said Allen Rozon. “A blacksmith can make a knife, but when a blacksmith makes a knife, you can tell that it’s a blacksmith that made the knife. The difference between a blacksmith making a knife and a bladesmith making a knife is the fit and finish, it’s the quality of the piece, it’s the time spent, it’s the thought put into the materials you’re using.”
