The truth is they do a great job of denying it, but the trauma they are dealing with they just can’t hide it. I’ve found that most of the obstacles we face as Christians come from us forgetting our identity in God. When you don’t know who you are, it causes a lack of belief in the source and the resources you have access to as a child of God. There is nothing wrong with people knowing your identity. The problem occurs when you don’t know.

Every person is either a creator of fact or a creature of circumstance. You either add to your environment, or, like a chameleon, you take from it

God tests, but it is Satan who tempts. God will test you to strengthen you, but Satan will tempt you to weaken you. Satan will tempt you, to deceive you. Temptation usually comes through a door that has been deliberately left open. However, God will test you, to try you or examine you. He will test you to prove you or establish you. He will test you to refine you or transform you. Tempting is for our failure & destruction, but testing designed to make our faith stronger.

Too often we react in anger when we think others have hurt us, or when we assume that others are out to get us. We react when we don’t need to; we hold on to anger, and sometimes we hope the other person gets hurt as well, but in doing so, we only end up hurting ourselves.
