Oh, this is a law that many don't know the principle behind or really what it is all about. Using the Lord's name is like saying "by the honor of my family name, I will finish this mission" you have sworn an oath to uphold His honor, not just yours. So why do we use his name so easily? Because we probably don't know what the principle behind the Law is about. If you don't want anyone smearing your reputation by using your name then we should be just the same with our God. The principle of the second law God ever made for us is quite simple but so hard to follow for many since we want to SEE our god. We can't see God in the flesh or in person so we tend to follow man-made myths or idols that give us comfort in a tangible form. Oh, such a hard thing to consider especially if you have been checking out your horoscope for your entire life! I know! I remember reading mine when I was young. Let's dig into those 5 areas that we should obey that will not just check the box for God but make us better people in the present and future. A wise person obeys the Lord and a fool loves to court danger.  Obedience is gained through wisdom so let us be wise not in our own eyes and but to God obedience will come easy.
