Why do Boards of Directors want to split our beloved brands into scraps that should technically work together but really invite a whole host of challenges?
We welcome ecommerce technology expert and host of the Watson Weekly podcast, Rick Watson to discuss the motivations as well as the challenges that will be faced by these companies after they “take the money.”
Rick Watson founded RMW Commerce Consulting after spending 20+ years as a technology entrepreneur and operator exclusively in the eCommerce industry with companies like ChannelAdvisor, BarnesandNoble.com, Merchantry, and Pitney Bowes.
Watson’s work today is centered on supporting investors and management teams incubating and growing direct-to-consumer businesses. Most recently, in partnership with WHP Global, Rick was a critical resource in architecting the WHP+ platform, a new turnkey direct to consumer digital e-commerce platform that powers AnneKlein.com and JosephAbboud.com.
If your team has considered investing more in digital channels, Rick can help plan and execute your digital initiatives. You can connect with Rick on his website RMW Commerce Consulting or follow him on Twitter and LinkedIn.
