Peaceful Co-Parent

Reaching Black & Poor Fathers in Co-Parenting

Listen Later

Black parents have some of the greatest need for co-parenting education because 7 out of 10 black children are born to unmarried parents. Yet, according to our guest today, the word "co-parenting" isn't even in the vocabulary of many black parents. We'll discuss the unique challenges of black fathers in co-parenting and why one couple has made it their mission in life to create a bridge for black and poor fathers and mothers to come together to co-parent.

Guest Info: Family expert Jeffery Johnson, Ph.D. and his wife Monica, bring real talk and common-sense advice, for young, never-married, or non-resident parents, on how to begin the important but often challenging work of putting their children’s needs at the center of all decision-making that impacts them.
