One of River City Community Churches many missions has been to plant churches. On this program, Pastor Sean interviews the Pastor of one of those churches in San Marcos, Texas called Landmark Church. That Pastor also happens to be Sean's son Ryan Azzaro. Here what the Lord has done not just in the city, but in the heart of this pastor.
With the new year, the goal is to always grow...but to grow: where is the bar? What's the measure? The Word says we will give an account to God, to confess your sins, and pray for one another, encourage one another, build each other up...and that all means accountability. What does healthy accountability look like? Make it a goal to listen to this conversation led by Pastor Sean.
'Twas the week before Christmas, and we crank out one more podcast that's one of the best because it's The GOSPEL! Don't miss it this year! Pastor Sean challenges you to know that you're loved, and to reflect God's love...especially when that guy shows up again this Christmas. PAX!
In a Congressional hearing three University Presidents refused to say whether students who called for Jewish genocide were in violation of university policies. Since then one of those resigned. Harvard stood by their president despite recent revelations of plagiarism. Besides the fact that woke-ism is protecting outright genocide of the Jewish people, Pastor Sean says this is about control, and control them when they're young. Teach the truth.
Do you know what they mean when they say "From the River, to the Sea, Palestine will be free"? This level of antisemitism has not been seen since WWII. Sean gives a history lesson on the origins of a "nation" that was never a nation. When people say "Israelis are "occupiers"...occupiers of what? When the Bible says to bless Israel, accept the call, and stand with Israel.
Creativity is a gift given by the Creator, and Pastor Sean wants you to meet one of the most creative and entertaining men in ministry...Rod Butler...AKA Mr. Rod who just released Lampshaded: The Junior Novel (the 2nd in The Adventures of Captain Flashlight). Kids love it, but big kids like us love it too.
It's the most wonderful time of the year...so says Andy Williams. Pastor Sean has some ideas on how to make it the best season ever, even if you're in a season of loneliness. See you at Service!
Pastor Sean breaks down an article found in Relevant Magazine called "Five Things Christians Should Admit About The Bible". A couple of headline points are "The Bible Isn't As Clear As We'd Like It To Be" and "The Bible Was Inspired By God, Not Dictated by God". Sensational? Pandering? Clickbait? This podcast is not clickbait...BUT click now enjoy this conversation.
Rest is mentioned in Genesis 2, remembering the Sabbath is on Someone's top ten list, and there's some rest happing in the 23rd Psalm...so let's agree this is a Biblical idea. So are you doing it? How do you do it? Rest for 26 minutes and enjoy the conversation...and while you're at it...be still...and know that He is God.
To trick or not to treat? That is the question. All Hollow's Eve (Halloween) is the day before All Saints Day aka Day of the Dead. So should Christians run from the darkness (and turn off our front porch light), or reflect the light and turn on the light? This conversation starts off with Sean saying October 31st is the Day the Lord has made..."the Devil didn't make the day so he doesn't get a day." Stick to what the Word says and don't add to it.
