Reaching For Real Life with Sean Azzaro

Sean unpacks the differences between a church that starts in a home vs. the "Megachurch". The call is the same...make disciples.

Happy Passover! Happy Easter! He Has Risen! The Tomb is still empty in Israel and you can go with Pastor Sean and River City Community Church! (www.reallife.org/israel) We welcome back to the show Reuven Doron from his home in Jerusalem with a message on why every believer should experience Israel. Listen to the end for a quick Hebrew lesson too!

Another school shooting, with 3 adults and 3 children murdered - this time in a Christian School, where the shooter Audrey Hale was killed by police. This all happens weeks after Tennessee

bans the medical transitioning of minors & banning adult cabaret (drag) performances in front of children. Righteous anger with a message to stand up and say "no" to the craziness is appropriate. Also how then should we pray.

Pastor Sean pulls in Executive Pastor Mike McGuire who claims his job is to do nothing but to help Sean keep the ship moving forward and solve problems. Unfortunately Sean's not buying it, because Mike is humble enough to let the Lord use him in new ways that they didn't expect because of Covid with the food pantry ministry, and sharing the love of Jesus to neighborhoods under an idea called Compassion Zones. Listen and be inspired!

The reviews are in - The Jesus Revolution gets 5 Stars (and 2 fishes). Pastor Sean shares his take on the story, and how they tell the whole story...as there's never a perfect church because there are never perfect people. Get some popcorn and enjoy the conversation.

Mental Illness is plaguing the world with Anxiety Disorder leading the way in America affecting 40 million adults.

Pastor Sean talks about the whys, the hope, and speaks the truth in love when it comes to treatment. Open your Bible to Philippians Chapter 4 and follow along.

Sean Azzaro is not only a teacher and pastor, he's also a gifted Worship Leader. Sean digs in deep today on what is worship, how should you prepare to worship, and has some ideas on how we should see worship differently in the church today.

As of this posting 50K have flocked to Kentucky to be a part of the "Asbury Revival". Should you go too? Sean says if you do, bring him back some nuggets from Buc-ee's...but that's not the question you should ask. You can ask God to revive your heart right here, right now. God's not "there", He's here.

Many agree...one of the greatest Super Bowl Games ever but there was a lot more cooking...from the patriotism demonstrated, an epic version of the Nation Anthem, to the drama of a "Black National Anthem" and again the division created. Sean shares something special that happened on Super Bowl Sunday when River City joined River City Espanol (the Spanish congregation) - and got a taste of Heavenly worship. Unity is good thing.

A ton of stuff on the table, Superbowl Weekend, Valentine's Day Week, The State of the Union...but it's Black History Month. How do we honor it in this divisive climate to reflect Christ? Pastor Sean has a dream! There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus - Unity!
