Ep. 39 - Reacting to the recent deaths of Anthony Bourdain & Kate Spade

We go really deep this show, talking about depression as Brandon reacts to the recent tragic deaths of travel and food icon Anthony Bourdain, and fashion icon Kate Spade. Brandon relates this to his own depression after losing several guys in the SEAL community and it coming to a head with the death of Glen Doherty in Benghazi, Libya. Brandon also talks about how SOFREP writer George Hand's four-part series "Former Delta Force Operator on the truth about suicide; Been there, done that" made a profound impact on him and how he viewed this incredibly serious issue. Brandon does still manage to share some good times though as he reflects on the life of his former teammate Glen.

Also on this episode, Brandon discusses attending his first meeting in Washington D.C. as a member of the board of the SBA(Small Business Administration.)
