REACTION: Texas A&M UPSETS No. 1 Auburn Basketball | Aggies First Win Over No. 1 In PROGRAM HISTORY
Fresh off clinching the SEC Regular Season Championship and DOMINATING Kentucky in Rupp Arena, No. 1 Auburn falls to No. 22 Texas A&M on their home court. The Aggies win over Auburn marked their first ever win over an AP No. 1 team as they entered the game 0-9 against teams atop the AP Poll. Immediately following the game, Wade Taylor IV’s jersey was retired and hung in the rafters of Reed Arena. This was the Tigers first SEC road loss of the season and Auburn will return home to play Alabama in Neville Arena to close out conference play on Saturday.
