Today I read this book as it reminds us that Christmas isn’t just about the presents. We can have fun at Christmas, but we also need to remember that we celebrate it as the reminder of the night that Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary and then 33 years later He would die for our sins so we might be with Him in Heaven when we’ve gone on. Dad joins me today so we can talk about the history of Thanksgiving and then we read a few verses on how we can give thanks to God. We also discuss memories and traditions of Thanksgiving. Today I read the history of Halloween to you. I had the idea to do a Halloween episode last year, but people said no and so I decided to research some this year to let y’all know if you want to do it or not. I note the difference in doing something and celebrating something. I also paraphrase Matthew 5:15. Then I end it by giving my viewpoint on Halloween.
