Reading Between The Spines

In this episode, we were going to try a March Madness bracket for new releases in 2021 but because we're English and not sporty we didn't know what it entailed and it didn't make sense BUT an end of 2021 book tournament is a definite possibility!

Instead, we discussed our recent reads, our current reads and upcoming books on our TBR. For the March Madness element we decided to do a book swap so we could read books that we wouldn't necessarily pick for ourselves so tune in next time to hear our thoughts on those books!

Welcome to the Hellmouth!

We have a new series where we’ll be discussing old shows from our childhood, starting with Buffy the Vampire Slayer more than 20 years after the slayer first graced our television sets.

In our first episode, Jess watches her first full episode since a traumatic viewing in her childhood and Becca is living the dream of having an excuse to rewatch her favourite childhood series while also feeling guilty about the problematic things surrounding it. To be clear, this is not a podcast about the creator of the series, the show is good in spite of that person.
