Our favorite show is doing a musical about our least favorite person! What could go wrong? Join us for an exploration of inequality and homophobia in our nation's education system and bear witness to two miracles in one episode: the blossoming of young love and a queen bringing up a medical condition in a reasonable, mature, and contextually appropriate way. Also, a lot of Joel McHale shouting.
It's a real mixed bag this week, is what we're saying.
It's been a miraculous week for the gurls here at Reading Drag Race. First, Hersula, Conde and That-Gurl managed to turn out three podcasts, three weeks in a row! Second, we're all still on speaking terms! And most importantly, we all survived the single worst performance in a team challenge in Drag Race Herstory and the nightmares have receded sooner than expected! Haleloo!
Bonus mini-episodes are the lace fronts of podcasting. You're not really doing drag until you have one. Before Kahanna's (very sweet and genuine, seriously no shade) lipstick message is wiped off forever, gaze into the mirror and into the future with That-Gurl-Down-the-Street-that-You-Don’t-Like.
Halleloo, bitches, we're back!
Join Hersula and Conde as they continue their journey of professional shade and amateur sound engineering. Because the girls are out living their fabulous lives, we had to do this one over Skype, but like most of the girls this week, we show incremental improvement.
Welcome to the first episode of Reading Drag Race! Your hosts Hersula and Conde Nasty are wading hip deep into the swirling waters of a whole new season of Drag Race and read it (and each other) for filth. With special guest, That-Gurl-Down-the-Street-that-You-Don’t-Like, we debate all things drag race and, together, find the courage to move past Miley Cyrus' weird fake beard obviously made of pubes.
