Thanks for listening to another episode of Reading Too Much Into! For our October (yes, I realize this is two days late but let's pretend it's not) book, we are reading too much into The Maidens by Alex Michaelides.

This is a super complex murder mystery that is the perfect read for Halloween or anyone who is a crime junkie. Mariana, the main character, goes back to her college to comfort her adoptive daughter, whose roommate has just been murdered. While she is there, she starts to investigate the murder, and it reveals deep secrets from her own past.
